If you are booking an appointment to complete a housing application please ensure you meet the following criteria and have the following documents to carry out your appointment.

 

·         5 years proof of continues residency in the borough of Southwark

·         One form of identity for each adult, including any settlement/immigration documents if applicable.

·         Two different proofs of address for each adult. For the main applicant, one of which must be dated at 5+ years old.

·         For applicants who are not the main tenant of their accommodation, a written and signed statement from the main tenant/homeowner and proof they are the main tenant/homeowner.

·         Proof of income.

·         Voluntary contributions to the borough will require a letter from the manager of the organisation confirming hours worked and the date of voluntary work starting.

 

For each child:

 

·         Birth certificate.

·         Settlement/immigration documents if applicable.

·         Child benefit or child tax credit letters.

·         For cared for children please provide a combination of: Confirmation documents from social services; Residence or custody order; Confirmation from Health Services; Confirmation from Nursery, School or College.
